I'm looking for feedback on my blog
I have created my blog: J&J Pumps.com but nobody is following it or posting any comments. Am I posting good enough content? I've posted 7 relevant blog posts so far that all pertain to my title "constant pressure pumps" such as one about submersible pumps, and about the accessories, and how to use our actual website. I've had a customer tell me our blog was very helpful but he never commented or subscribed. Can any body tell me what I'm doing wrong, please? Is it the layout, the colors, the content, the font? I'm just not sure what is wrong. I even posted a video on to make it more personal:

Any feed back would be great :)

The subject of pumps seems like it's only interesting to those who think about those things... so, on your front page, you'll have to attract people with hype (sorry to say it)... like, some 'bling' and captivating persuasion. I would put all the 'bling' right up front where they can see it, without having to scroll down. But one thing to bring more traffic, is to put meaningful metadata, and have your headers state what's in the website.
p.s. at first I didn't answer cause I thought maybe it was a ploy to get more people to come to your website, but since I was having the same problem, I posted... good luck

Thank you for your time and help! I really apprecitate your feedback.

I added a slideshow today, was it up when you checked it out earlier? I think it might be just about as much bling as pumps get :) try it now:

    What do you think?

Yeah, I believe it was up when I went there. I'm talking about visual flash, like extras, instead of just squares on squares.
I guess it's all about pictures. Also, I took another look, and the page is too long. Break it up into really digestible pieces. Also, state exactly what you want from the reader, like, are you selling a product? Are you just tutoring them in your field? Zero in on exactly what you want from the reader. Ask them what they want, and let them comment, because I'm sure you'll get great hints that way.

And how many "hits" are you getting,
If there is no one going there, then no one is going to repsond, if there are 100 people, or 1000 people then it is different
