Hi I'm 17 and since I've had my period its been irregular (11 years old) most of the time ill have cramps and brown discharge (not much) for 3-5 days with out ever getting my period. About every 2 months give or take a few ill have a period but its heavy blood clotting. I'm not sexually active I don't take birthcontrol or any other medication except tylenol here or there for the common headaches any ideas on what could be wrong?:confused:

Sounds like you should make yourself an appt with a gynocologist... have you been to one?

Actually I haven’t. at my doctors office a parent has to be there for the appointment but my mom isn’t around much and honestly the conversation of periods makes my dad deaf for a bit. This is kind of my last resort before I take that step you know :(

How about your local health department? Sometimes they offer special programs for teenagers... just a thought.
