Does somebody know what could hapend if I miss my court date tomorrow for a debt collector? I am going to file for bankruptcy in just a few weeks. It is nessesary to show up?

First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on someone else's. This can lead to confusion. You should start a new thread. So I've moved your question to its own thread.

What WILL happen if you don't show up, is they will get a default judgement against. A judgement may not be dismissed by the bankruptcy. With the judgement they may be able to attach assets before the bankruptcy is filed.

Not knowing what type of debt, if that debt is not secured, a judgement may give them a chance to place it secured ( attached to something) which changes it status in court.

Your best bet is try and get a new date from the court to delay things
