Yesterday I went to get a Brazilian wax, afterwards I noticed a VERY small dark purple/brown bump on my vaginal lip. There's one on the other vaginal lip, almost like a mirror image. They don't burn, hurt, or itch. I never noticed them before though, and sadly I don't know if they were there BEFORE the wax or just after. They are on the part of the lip that was waxed though, and there aren't any other questionable bumps in or around my vagina.

What could they be? Honestly they are tiny, no bigger than your average ingrown hair. But I've never had an ingrown hair on my vaginal lip so I don't know what color it would be. I thought possibly the pore may have just filled with blood during the waxing process? I don't know... they kind of look like tiny moles.

Any ideas?

Best to ask adoc, but your idea sounds good, or maybe a small skin irritaion form the wax or such.

I looked through a few of my medical books, and the only thing that you maybe worried about it being as of what I can find based on what you gave me, I'm no doctor, but herpes. But that doesn't sound like it. Still better safe than sorry.

Take care, don't be too up set by my suggested idea, because the symptoms don't really match, only bumps, vagina. So take it easy and get checked, or ask your waxers if they know?
