    Hi, PHOTOSHOP!

I'm not positive that this will work on the images that you received, but if you're using a computer and mouse where you can right-click on an image and then left-click on Properties, on many images on which I've done that, I've been able to find out a lot more things about the images.

Might work on the ones that you have and might not. But, it could be worth a try...

    Thanks!

You need to "view info" with a program that knows how to display the metadata inside the image file. You can do this with Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, or you can download and use the free program Irfanview.

However, it may not work if the file in the email was "created" by her computer as she sent you the email. In that case the image you have may not have the metadata imbedded in the image on your friend's computer. The metadata is sometimes removed when you send a photo via email when the photo is resized for email, to reduce the file size so that it doesn't take too long to download for people on dial-up.
