1998 Ponitac Grand Prix GT cuts off while driving
My 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix GT cuts off suddenly while I'm driving. At first I could immediately restart the car. Now sometimes it takes 5-10 minutes ( I guess when it's had time to cool?). I'm at my wits end!! We've replaced- starter, module, and some other things I can't remember right now. Really need help!! :(

It could be anything from a bad crank sensor to a bad fuel pump. Has your check engine light been on at any time? Scan for codes stored in the computer and post them here.

In many of these situations, the Crankshaft Position Sensor is bad. It's located next to the crankshaft and is vulnerable to water, ice, salt, and road oil.
