Why has my dog started weeing and won't stop barking?
I have just moved in with my 6 month old baby to ma and pa's house and they have a cat and I have a jack russell he is 3 years old. He being joey the jack russell has just started to wee in the house an won't stop barking when he's put outside. ( while trying to clean up? ) why is he doing this any ideas welcomed? I've showed him and then taken him out to the garden and take him on walks and he does his business out and about? Joey is also aggressive towards other dogs and only accepts a couple (they were honoured) getting really frustated and parents not happy while trying to bring up a new baby! And neighbours complaining! we have been there 6 months and he has only just started doing it?

It could be that Joey is marking his territory, it's a new place, a new baby, and some dogs don't handle change very well.

You have to make sure he knows that you're in charge and that his behaviour isn't okay. Don't scold, just positive reinforcement, lots of praise when he does what's expected of him. If you catch him in the act of peeing in the house then make a loud noise, take him directly outisde, use your potty command word and then lots of praise when he goes potty outside.

It may take some time, this has become a learned behaviour so he has to unlearn it.

Patience is the most important thing.

    Good luck.
