Last year on my 2003 pt cruiser, the bulldog started by itself 2 nights in a row, Took to dodge dealer next day, nothing, it was aftermarket, just take battert outa remote, Fine till yesterday it did it again, I live back in the wooods, 2 neighbors 1/4 mile, What is causing this?? I do like it, but haven't use it since last yr. because problem?? I read on their site about clearing memory, since replace car battery?? But no one one has this problem, can't be interfernce? Could check 2 neighbors though, but product limited I think 400 ft? They are further than that.

Well it did it againg 830 last night. I see that I'm going to find the little black box near the column and take the fuses out of it.

Are you saying that it's still starting even with the battery removed from the remote? There's always the possibility of interference. Did you have the starter professionally installed or was it done by a friend or yourself?

The system was there when I bought the car. I just took the 2 fuses out under the dash where the black box was. I don't see where there could be interference, It could be a bad module box.

It could be bad wiring, which is why I asked who installed the system. Have you actually removed the battery from the remote and left it to see if that's what's causing the problem?

Is this a remote start alarm system? If so some of them have a feature that when programmed will automatically start at the same time everyday that it is programmed.

Now, I get criticized for not reading, but if you would read the 1st message, I did take the battery out the 1st year it did that, It was suggested when I took it to the dealership. It is just a remote start system only. Last week I just took the 2 fuses from the box under the column and say hell with it. Thanks for any help, but more helpful in their FAQ section website.

Well, I don't see anything wrong about my posting/replys, I posted an adequate question and get an idiotic remark-only 1 person had a legit question. And want to criticize me, they don't even read the question I post and ask the question over again. Then suggest bad wiring--that shows they know nothing more than I do.

Let's see... you don't give us enough information, get angry when we ask questions, call us idiotic, claim that YOU'RE being criticized, come back nearly 5 months later with nothing but angry and argumentative remarks...

And by the way, when I mentioned "interference", I was suggesting the possibility of frequency interference from a satellite dish, cable lines, a home security system, etc.

But of course, I'm sure YOU knew that...

How do you want that more people would come and try solve your problem. We cannot but only suggest what's being wrong from the net. Sometimes, people guess right, but most of the time wrong with few information. You should try making your posts clearer, and give necessary details.
