    DRM problem
Hey guys! Frankly speaking audio DRM protection, fighting against audio pirates, prevents nearly all types of fair use of audio by legal subscribers
Seaching the web I've found several soft tools to remove this protection - I suppose it's absolutely legal cause we do pay for the songs!
    What's your point of view?

My point of view is that the content providers are being forced to protect themselves because of all the piracy going on.

The "soft" tools you refer to may not be legal especially those for video.

While I support fair use, I also understand the content providers desire to protect their property.

Here are some technical issues many have found with that program:

Apparently it will kill your audio drivers or worse.

Yahoo is experimenting with DRM-free music sales, you should probably check that out.

Shame it's with Jessica Simpson's music :P Attractive, nice voice but her music is terrible and she has the I.Q. of a peanut.

DRM annoys everyone. I used to use Hymn - http://hymn-project.org/ for my iTunes music but this has been useless since iTunes v6. Since then it's been burn to CD then rip back to the PC :(

The industry is starting to come around to trying routes with DRM - let's hope they keep at it.
