Refusing to pay his half of the medical. Not adjusting the child support based on his income.

I have pulled the original file and need to know what is "secondary school"? Does this mean as long as she is in college? She plans to go to college and live here at home.

Yes, secondary school is normally college. And each state has different laws on it, but your actual court order is what counts/

But I have to ask, your husband did not file in correct people?
There is only one court in each county where you file, and there is only one office for that court in that country if it was filed then it was filed.
Plus if you were filing for custody, it is your responsilibity and your attorney ( sounds like you did not use one) to file.
So he does not pay, you take him back to court and get the judge to order him to pay.

Adjustment, no of course he is not going to do it that is for you to take him back to court every few years.

Sounds like you expected not to do anything but get a check. Everything you complained about was partial your duties to see it got done

The state we are in is Texas. Neither used an attorney. I trusted him to have the best interest of our daughter in mind. Throughout the years, she was 2 1/2 at the time, he has shown that he is only interested in what he wants. She can have what she wants... if she comes to live with him. If she refuses, then sorry, he doesn't have the time or the money to assist her with anything. He has paid $367 for 15 years, no insurance, no help with medical and actually refused to pay for six months when she was in third.

He left her at 8 crying during her recital as the star while he went with to a comic book store. My husband was standing at the stage door frantic for someone to bring her to him from the dressing room when I came up. We've been married since she was 3 1/2.

My husband has been there for everything from the father daughter dances to the first time her lamb with FFA was taken to slaughter, even her broken arm. He always stated call your dad and see if he can make it. She would agree, call and be told no, he was too busy. Even when she took a week off work last year to spend with him, he was too busy, but maybe she should come back the next month. He had two months notice.

He has cut his own throat with her. He currently carries her insurance and charges her for it monthly. He text her to remind her of the payment. He gracesly offered to take it out of the child support he direct deposits and she told him no.

We went through the hurricane and he didn't even check to see if she was okay, just reminded her the payment was due.

I've tried to let things ride and my husband and I have paid everything we can. She has gotten jobs to pay for the rest. She is a very responsible person with As and Bs and is set on going to college for veternarian.

He claims to have approximately 16,000 for her college, but he hopes she doesn't want it all at once. I would use the 650 to pay for her living expenses at college.

I know he plans to stop paying on her 18th birthday. Someone told me he had to pay till she was out of college. I was currious if secondary meant high school or college.

By the way, he makes more than my husband and I combined. His wife doesn't work. Her son's father pays the maximum on child support and it's adjusted every three years. I never felt it was worth his taking it out on our daughter to ask for help till last fall. We actually introduced him and his wife to each other six years ago.

He buys computers and new cars for his family. They spend over $600 each Christmas on the two boys (one is theres) and buy her $50 items. She spends her own money on all of them. I even have to take her shopping for them.

So, yeah, at this point, all I'm interested in is the money she needs to survive and make good grades. She's a student with learning disabilities, has asthma, a heart defect and thyroid problems. She still works, praticipates in band, FFA and makes As and Bs. She even offers her money to pay for her meds, which I refuse.

You needed to have done something years ago

You could have had a lot more per month a person making 12 dollars a hour pays more than 360 dollars a month child support.

And you could have made him furnish her health insurace free for her, and made him pay 1/2 of all of her other medical bills.

As for as college, it is all up to what your court order says he has to pay
