I have a GAS hot air heat system with A/C. It is a 2 zone, not multi stage, with a control thermostat on the first floor and slave thermostat on the second floor. The first floor stat has 6 wires, white, red (jumped to RC/RH) brown, orange, yellow, green.

I believe the old stat to be faulty and want to replace with 2 new ones. The furnace has a Trol-A-Temp MM-2 control pannel and the system has 2 Honeywell ZD dampers.

This is not a heat pump system. Any suggestions as to what thermostat to use a replacement?

The reason for this is the thermostats used in this system are usually specifically designed for the trol-a-temp system in many cases.
