circuit going on and off randomly!
I'm becoming quite frustrated regarding my electrical problem. One circuit in my house (master bedroom overhead, 2 bed recepticles, and master bathroom) keeps shutting completely on, and completely off at random. It may last a month with no problems, and then the complete circuit turns off for hours or days! The length of time varies from a few hours off to days without power. Nothing plugged in, turned on, etc. helps this issue.

I've tried the following to no avail:

    1) Switched the master bath outlet (with reset button).
    2) Changed the breaker it's on with another one that works.

Help! No idea what to do or check next, but call an electrician to check it out for $50/hour. Thanks.

It sounds like one of the outlets that may be "daisy chained" together (incoming voltage comes in the outlet, and then leaves the outlet to the next outlet) has come loose.

You will need to go over the whole circuit, outlet for outlet, jbox or jbox until you find where the circuit is opening.
Don't foget to look for not only open hots, but open neutrals too.

Unless the GFI in the bathroom is on the effected circuit, then it won't have any effect.
