    Oil mix
I have a Snapper LE 19 snowblower that was given to me, I need to know the oil mix for the gas. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it.

I don't know your mix but there is actually a 2 cycle oil that covers most all mixes. Its at he big stores and it has a small looking reservoir in the neck of the bottle and you squeeze it to get the onces and that's it.
Try calling a snapper dealer and I bet they can get the exact ratio for you. P.S> always use mid grade or higher gas in 2 cycles and not low grade

    Hi,
I have reason to believe that it is a TC200 or TC300 engine and the gas cap probably would have 24:1 or 32:1 cast in it.
    Let me say this AGAIN!
The gas ain't what it used to be!
I know all the "old" school stuff!
I WAS there! Worked on two-stroke-cycle engines for over 35 years!
    Here is the true "skinny!"
A good quality name-brand two cycle oil made for air-cooled engines at a ratio of 50:1 will work just fine in all current and old engines.
Why do I say this? Newer engines are tighter tolerances made for it! Older engines are looser tolerances that wanted more octane and lubrication; in the absence of one(octane) they will deal just fine with the other. Octane translates into heat; lower octane, lower heat. Lower heat , less lubrication breakdown.
Don't believe me, ask the companies that make the machines or the oil; that is what they have taught us in the industry for over 15 years.
    Peace,
    Clarke
