AGe a child can choose where to live in ONT
I am a father recently separated and likely heading to court soon, one of my sons is 13 and would like to come to live with me. When is he able to decide this cause his mother will not allow him to for her own personal reasons. I am a great father who has taken great care of his kids all his life. I live in Ontario CAnada.
And if he is old enough to decide then does anyone know how I get the process going?
    THanks

The court will probably listen to his opinion but will ultimately determine what it feels is best for your son. Legally he can make his own decision when he is 18.

You have a burden to prove to the court that you are suitable... at this age, the court will listen to the child. Get a good lawyer...
