Installing a wiring harness to instrument panel in 1975 F100
I got aN EZ Wiring Harness for a F100, 1975. It was really simple with the illustrations, but for some reason I am having trouble with the instrument panel. The original instrument panel from the truck has about 16 wires of various colors coming out of the connector. The Ford manual does not have the wires labelled.

My wiring harness has eight--Gauge power, L Blinker ind. R Blinker ind. Hazards, High Beam ind. Oil sending, Temp sending, Fuel ind. And I need to ground it. There is a "map" on the back of the instrument panel labeling which wire terminal goes to what, but it does not seem to be working for me.

The EZ Wiring Manual has Gauge power hooked to Oil, Volt, Fuel, and Temp, but which wire goes to all four?

Do you have an illustration for this type of instrument panel that can tell me which wire is which?

    Thank you for your time.

From your description, it sounds like you bought a generic wiring harness, which can be problematic.
