I forgot my Yahoo password... so I went to Yahoo, and typed in all my info... and a link was sent to my alternate email to reset my password... so I got that taken care off...

But my old password, that I have forgotten, was the same password for another account...

So in order to access the other account, I need to know my old Yahoo password...

How can I do this ?

Unless the other site has a feature like that of Yahoo! you can't. Updated safety features to almost every website no longer allow you to find out what your old password was; it merely allows you to reset it through an e-mail.

The other site doesn't offer that... anyway around it on Yahoo ?

Not as far as I'm aware. They used to just show you your old password but that made it too easy to break into other people's accounts; that's why it's set up the way it is now. Can I ask which site you're trying to access?

Its not a commercial online acct... its a login...

They should still have some option if you forget your password, whether it's e-mailing you a temporary one or resetting it directly on the site.

Its not a site... its a personal document I password protected years ago, and now I need to access it but have no clue what the password is... thats what I meant by "its not an online commercial acct"

What program did you use to create the document?
