Does anyone know about this CPS stuff!
Can anyone answer this question. I need to know "if" a defensive eval will undue the damage caused by a prior DYFS/CPS eval. I'd like some advice on this. If this will not help, can someone advise on what strategy should be used at this time? I'm still in the compliance phase of the case. Case is 8 months old...

I think some more detail is going to be required to answer this accurately.

As Steve said, more info is needed.

A defensive eval certainly won't hurt IF it is helpful. IF it comes back the same way the initial eval came back, it can hurt.

    Again - need more info.

I want to show a pattern of fraud by contracted agencies that the Division sends parents to. I have the reports they "think" I don't have. So, right now I need some help on doing some background checks. Anyone wanna help this Marine get his lil girl from those state thugs???

If you want background checks run you'll have to hire someone to do them - a licensed private investigator is your best bet.

No, no one here is going to volunteer to work for free. That's not what this board does.

Oh, and if your Attorney is not doing the job you expect, discharge him/her and find another Attorney.

While we're on the subject, who is your Attorney on the take FROM?

Quite bluntly, here is my problem - the Judge is against you, CPS is against you, your own Attorney is against you, the Social Workers are against you, the Government... and so forth. You are posting a question here but answering questions on the same subject on another thread.

If you would like to discuss the CPS system and how you've been wrong, the place for that is the discussion thread. This is a legal advice board. https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/member-discussions/

Have you been on this site before using another user name? As I recall you live in NC, SC, Virginia?

So you believe your lawyer is corrupt? Why are you using him then? Your therapist suggested you don't seek another eval but you want to anyway? Why are you paying him?

You have papers that they don't know you have? How were they obtained? If they were not legally obtained they are not legal evidence and may subject you to criminal prosicution.

When we asked for more detail we weren't asking why you wanted to fight the system... we want to know what you were initially evaluated for, who has your daughter, why they have her and what you hope to accomplish.

And your signature is wrong. There are a lot of people here, including lawyers, who help people because they like helping people. And constitutional rights do not necessarily protect parents. People throw the word "constitutional" around like all law is federal. It's not.

First understand we have several attorneys on here that do come and give free advice to help others.

But often attorneys are going to tell you the truth about your case. And in your case,it may well be that attacking this eval is not in your best interest.

In fact, I will be blunt, if you were to take the stand and start ranting like you are here, your case would fly out the winow quickly. I would assume your attorney has tried to tell you something like that also,

And gettings ones kids back depends on so many factors, none of which were addressed here.

As done before, this is not a place to merely rant your hatredfor our children servcies in the US.

If you want to actually give real facts of the case, do so, if not, I am going to close this thread also.
