    3 wire into a 4 prong
:confused:First I should explain where I am living. I am living in the Philippines and there wiring is a lot different then the states. My house is wired for 240 volt and 110 volt I would like to wire a duel oven into the house. How would I go about it?

Previously I said that I am living in the Philippines. What I am thinking of doing if possible is to wire the duel oven into my generator istead of the house. How can I do it the generator has a 4 prong plug set up and my sovens has only three wires:confused:

Need to know how many amps or watts and at how many volts the oven or ovens are rated at? And are you saying you are switching from three prongs to four?

The oven says 208-240 volt and 60 amps and what I would like to do is plug into my generator that has a 4 prong plug for 240 volt and the oven only has three wires plus a copper ground wire

Does the oven have a plug now or just wires coming out? And are you sure the generator can take 60 amps?

It just has wires coming out as it was hard wired into my house in the states and as for the generator yes with no problem as it is a honda power boss 7000watts

That generator does not even put out close to enough power to run more than one burner on the cooktop.
