You can get pregnant right after you have one actually. Birth control will slowly start regulating your period back to normal.. if you have the pack with white,blue, and green pills... if not... the green or last 7 pills are the pills that should make you be on your period... if its not quite right at the moment its both because you just started taking the pill and you just had an abortion. It should take about 3 or 4 months to regulate. Also I would recommend waiting a full cycle of birth control before resuming intercourse and use a condom as well. Be prepared and careful this time
