    Bleeding when using bathroom
I just had my tonsil out on the 2nd is it normal for me to bleed when I poop?

    Choux

If there is bright red blood in/on your poop, that means fresh blood and it is coming from very near the rectum. Like a broken blood vessel in your rectum from straining.

If there is blood going down your throat, it would appear very dark, n ot red, by the time it comes out in poop.

    Why not call your surgeon?

    tickle

Shorty, having your tonsils out has nothing to do with having a bowel movement and finding blood unless you have hemorroids.

Is it bright red blood or a very dark blood. Either of these means different areas of bleeding. And no, having your tonsils out has nothing to do with bleeding from your rectum.
