How to hint my boyfriend to take a condom
I told him I want to be with him, and he said he felt the same way. But I am not sure he got it.

This is not something you hint. Go and buy some condoms and when things start getting hot, hand him one.

I will also say that no one should be having sexual intercourse unless they are emotionally and financially prepared to have a child. No method of birth control is 100%.

Condoms of course are not nearly 100 percent, So unless you are ready to have a baby I would recommend at least the pill and a condom.

But you don't hint, you discuss it, and have your own also.
And make sure it is with or not at all

Yea just bring some that you can give him if/when things get to that point... he will be stoked you have them if he doesn't lol

And yes, know the consequences of sex

    But is pill really necessary?

Absolutely! Condoms are like what? 70-90% effective at stopping pregnancy? Mostly because they break/leak and people use them incorrectly... no one that isn't looking to have a child should have sex without the pill, patch, shot, iud, etc...

You can never use TOO MUCH protection . As the others said there is no guarantee you won't get pregnant even if you do use it.

    Hi Eva,

Buy a pack and have it available when the time comes. Also you show him on the net what diseases one can get if they don't protect themselves and be sensible for themselves and each other!

You need to educate yourself about sex, by the way how old are you? If he can't wear a condom then your two shouldn't be having sex. No glove no sex and with all the diseases out there he should respect that. If he doesn't want to wear one than that should tell you a lot about him.

Also, it doesn't hurt for the both of you to get yourself check out before your have sex especially if the two of you are committed to one another. Me and my fiancé did this before when engaged in any sexual activity.

Also, there are many forms of birth control nowadays besides the pill. And before you use any do your research. I really think you need to talk an GYN doctor to weight all your options and discuss sex.

Btw, are you and this guy in a relationship or do your only like each other.

Let me reverse the question. Are you ready to have a baby? Unless the answer to that question is Yes, then you should be taking ALL precautions you can or not having sexual intercourse. Notify I specify intercourse, there are otherways to be intimate with and give/receive pleasure with your partner without risking pregnancy.

No form of birth control is 100% effective. Combining things like a condom and pill will decrease the odds of getting pregnant but not eliminate them.

Is this the same guy who will dump you for bad grades? How old are you?

If your thinking this will distract him from your bad grades, your probably right, but that's not a reason to have sex, is it?

Why do I have a feeling that you two having sex, will make bad grades even worse?

I would ask him to wear a condom. I'm not sure how long you have been together if it's been a long relationship , just make sure you two go to the doctor (together) regularly, and explain to him the importance of manogomy, never let a man feel like his emotions are more important than your life , you decide is your life important to you? Yes or No?::

Not all people's questions need you to examine the historical questions. But I want to tell you, my grades are better because I study hard now. Tal :)
I am glad your grades are better, but a complete story helps us all, and even you. The more facts the better the advice, and your decisions.
