My dusk to dawn light stays on when its overcast but goes out when its sunny I cleaned the electric eye and it did'nt help. Do I need a new electric eye ?

Is there a way to adjust the sensitivity on the light fixture like many motion detectors have? Fixture could be bad is it mostly located in the shade?

Shine a light on eye, if dark, to verify it is not switching off, may need a minute.
Many photocells when they fail, they stay on.
