    1099-int requirements
    Hello,
    One final question...
As a very small mortgage company, we hold and service a few mortgage loans.
One of those loans belongs to an LLC of one of the partners of the mortgage company.
We receive interest and pay it directly out to the LLC monthy.
Do I 1099-INT the LLC or the individual who owns the LLC?
The lender on the mortgage is the LLC.

    Thanks.

If you are paying to LLC, you will issue 1099-int to the LLC. To the individual (owner of LLC), it will not make any difference as the LLC will be treated as sole proprietorship for federal tax filing.
