I have a Kenmore dryer that heats up but the drum doesn't turn. Any suggestions?? Bought it in 7/06

Some time the drum won't turn because the belt is worn out and need to be replace. We had a Kenmore dryer with the same problem after I put a new belt it work fine .

Other than the belt, the drive motor may be faulty. The electronics driving the motor may have failed, and there could be other causes.
