It sounds like the puppy is just settling in before sleep. Please tell me you didn't breed her.

Okay, you are only 12 years old. I am assuming your dog is not spayed. Have you or your parents allowed her to get pregnant? Please give us this information, so we know how to answer your question. Also, please take more care with your spelling, so we can understand. I know you can do it. I've read some of your other posts.

No we have not bred her and she is not pregnant and you are correct in assuming that she is not spayed

She is likely just trying to get comfortable then. Unless this becomes an obsession with her and she starts doing it for longer periods, I wouldn't worry. Dogs sometimes get quirky habits like that, but it really isn't hurtful to them. It may bother you, and if if does, then you can try and give her commands to lay down and stop. A sharp NO, in a calm assertive voice should stop her if you are consistent.

Honey, may I ask why she is not spayed? Do you know that if you get her spayed that she could live longer? She will have less health problems, and that alone will cut down on cut the cost of vet bills. I know that you must love dogs. There are so many dogs that have to die every single day in shelters, because some people don't realize that not spaying and neutering their dogs, adds greatly to the over population. For every single new puppy that is born, 8-10 puppies need to die to make room. If you really do love your dog... I know you do... you will keep her healthy, and make sure one more dog doesn't have to die because she isn't spayed.

Thanks for asking your question, and please think about what I said. Someone like you could really help a lot of dogs if you only knew the facts about spaying and neutering. A puppy somewhere will thank you for that! :)

Starby, the OP did state that the puppy is 6 months old, most vets won't spay until then, so I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt and assuming that she is on the phone this minute with the vet making the appointment to have her dog spayed. ;)
