I just recently watched taken the other day and I have a lot of questions. When the girl was taken, how did the dad know where to find her and how does he know about the kidnapper? And when he went to that one place with all the girls, the part where he finds the jacket. The girl that was in that room and weird. What was wrong with her? The one that he brought to his hotel and take care of.

I've also heard of something called District 13, or B13, is it a real district? Was the setting of taken in district 13?

Fictional location in Paris, France. I did see the movie and have been to

He knew because he had connections and he's trained to track people. The girl with the jacket was on drugs. They drugged the girls up. He was trying to get the drugs out of her system so she could tell him about his daughter

When the girl was on the phone with her father and told him her friend was being taken, he told her to go to the next bedroom and get under the bed. While she was under there, he told her she would be taken. Once she was, he wanted her to leave the phone on the floor and in the 5-10 seconds she would have when she was grabbed before they left with her, she was to shout out everything she could think of to describe who was taking her. One of the things she shouted out was about the tattoo on one of the men. He was also able to hear their voices and, as such, their accent. Since he recorded the call, he was able to give that info to the people he previously worked for and they were able to use their information on terrorist groups to discover who they were. The girl with the jacket was wasted on drugs. When they took the girls, they would get them hooked on drugs so they could get them to become prostitutes.
