Getting my son to go to school.
We have an unusual situation. My son is 15. He is also developmentally delayed and mildly autistic. He needs medication for mood stabilization and maybe something for ADD. I am working on this, but it could be at least 2 weeks before that happens. In the meantime I am in danger of having to go to court and possibly jail if I don't get him to go. He just gets so angry and says he wants to die. He doesn't understand why he needs to go to school or what could happen to me if he doesn't. Can anyone give me any advice? It would be greatly appreciated. Just so you know, he is used to getting his way so I can keep my home as peaceful as possible. I am in a volatile marriage and I have three other sons who are also special needs.

What would your life be like if your marriage were not so volatile? How do you think the kids would be? I only say this because kids get stressed, they see how we as parents handle it. How do you handle stress? How does your spouse handle it? AND exactly what do you mean by volatile?
