    Rudd Heater lock out
I have a Rudd heater about 5 years old and the darn thing either won't turn on or won't stop running I have to recycle the power to the unit two or three times a day in order for it to run. The flame is next to the temp on therostat and a green blinking light on front panel of unit next to a solid green light.

Count the number of blinks. Then look on the inside of the blower door for the blink legend. Post both the number of blinks and the legend that says what the blinks mean.

Are you counting the blinks on the furnace control board?

About the only thing simple I can tell you to do is clean the flame sensor. The flame sensor can cause intermittent problems like you are having. There are different types of flame sensors so I will post a pic or two of them. Turn off the power and use steel wool, scotch brite pad or sandpaper. If the sensor is located near the ignitor be extra careful since the ignitors are delicate.
