    Spotting..
    Hi.
First of all let me say hi to everyone:p . I am new to this forum and thought maybe you guys could help me out with my situation.
My situation is as follows. I have been on the pill for three years now "Alesse 21". My periods are always regular. This month during the 1st or 2nd week of taking my pills I experienced some spotting. This has never happened to me before. My boyfriend and I have been fooling around a bit, and I am not sure if I took the pill after messing around or not. We do not use any other protection besides the pill. I am not sure, exactly the dates hehe.
Anyway, the spotting lasted a couple of days some worse than others, sometimes it would stop for a day and come back. At first I thought it could be implantation bleeding. I am suppose to get my period today( the 28th) and it feels like it is coming on.. When I went to use the bathroom I noticed a faint tint of blood again.. This time I think it is my period, because I had stopped spotting for sometime now, and I read that implantation bleeding lasted an average of 6 days.
So, what could have triggered me to spot like that.. Is it possible that it could be implantation bleeding. I am very confused by this and worried, this has never happened to me before.
    What could it be?

Dover, Please understand that implantation bleeding is not as common as one may think. It does not occur to every woman and it does not happen in every pregnancy. Most of the time, if implantation bleeding does indeed occur, it is mostly unnoticed.

From the info you have given so far it sounds as though your period began a little early (it is not uncommon). Please watch for the next couple of days and let me know what happens.

It is doubtful that this is implantation bleeding.

I don't think this was my period. It wouldn't have lasted this long, it lasted about 9 days stopped, and now I am experiencing some more spotting. Nothing like a period. It is very light, brownish and sometimes pinkinish.. Not heavy like a period...
I don't know maybe it was my period.
But, is it normal for it to happen like that. Even when your periods are very regular.

Yes it is possible for this to happen once in a while. Even when you are regular. Have you visited your Gyno lately? If not, I think it is time.
