My 92 civic cranks but won't start!
OK so here's my problem. I have a 1992 honda civic ex and I went out to start my car one morning and all it would do is crank but not start. I hooked up a stereo system in it the night before so I thought that could be the problem so I unhooked it and it still didn't start. So I thought maybe the battery died that wasn't it either. I have come to find out that I am not getting spark, and my fuel pump is not coming on either. I have changed the fuel pump it still doesn't turn on, tested and changed the main relay, put new spark plugs in,changed the coil pack, igniter and rotor in the distributer and also went as far as changing the ecu and still nothing. Does anyone have ANY suggestions for me I'm starting to lose hope.:(

Does the CEL come on a go off after 2 seconds, when the ignition switch is turned to ON?

The problem is with the ACG (ALT) (S) fuse, in the underdash fuse/relay box; ECM (perform the K-Test); Main Relay; or the Ignition Switch. Perform tests in that order.

I suspect a fuse or the ignition switch, since you replaced the main relay and ECM. Use a test light or multimeter to test all underdash and underhood fuses:

I would also clean the main ECM ground, located on the thermostat housing.

Until the CEL goes out, you will not have spark nor will the fuel pump work. In most of these situations, the problem is with the ACG (S) (ALT) fuse or the ECM has failed.
