Help,
I have a septic system that I had pumped out about a year ago. The master toilet clogs often and the master shower will backup also, lots of gurgling. Usually happens when two things are happening. Ex. Shower running and toilet flushing.

Clogged/slow moving drain line?
What do I do? Money is tight right now, any inexpensive solutions?
Well I can only tell you what I did recently but I'm sure it is not the correct way of going about it. I found where the clog was and after dumping lye down the line I blasted it with CO2 :D. I do this for condensate drain lines so I figured why not.
A "gurgle" indicates a blocked vent. The sound you hear is the fixtures attempting to vent through the traps. The solution would be to snake from the lavatory roof vent. Put out enough snake to reach the base and 20 feet more. Flush with hot water, Good luck.
