    Divide meters by seconds. You will come up with meters run per second. Now do the math.

    Samis : so you need the average speed :
    Way to get there : The average speed = meters per second (or kilometers per hour).

    Distance = 100m , and time = 9.8 seconds
    You have the distance per 9.8 seconds. But for average speed you need the distance per 1 second.
    So divide both terms with a factor 9.8 here, and you get...

    Distance = 1500m , and time = 3 min 26 sec
    How many sec = 3 min 26 sec ?
    Than divide 1500 by the number of sec and again you have the average speed

    Etc. etc. etc.

    Always be nice to those who try to help you...
