    SS benefit
Do I have to file my dependent kids' SS benefit on the parents tax return if they have no other income? And how? Just add it to my husband's SS benefit?

    Negative.

The Social Security benefit paid to the child actually BELONGS to the child and would be added to HIS/HER tax return if they had other earned income.

By itself, the Social Security benefit should not require the filing of a tax return for the child.
