What right does the father have in the state of Florida if the parents were never married, the father lives out of state, the father is on the birth certificate.

If the father is the legal father (which means he is on the birth certificate or confirmed as the father by a court) then he has the same rights as any non-custodial father.

    What rights does he want?

What rights are you asking about? Visitation? Custody? Do you want a determination of paternity so you can remove your name?

He has the right to go to court and get a order of visitation for the chidren unless there is a reason for him not to.

He is allowed to ask for a parenting plan to incude him in some choices.
He is allowed to be present at some events of the child.

Being out of state makes it harder
