Hi I just bought valentine card for boyfriend but stuck on a gift for him. LADS What would a lad like who is in to football and wrestling and loves to show me a good time. He is twenty one about ten pound doesn't seem a lot I no but I can't afford it as got my own place no he doesn't like a certain player and he has not got a sports decorated room

Depending on if he's into it, I always love to get a bottle of wine or beer that I haven't tried. Maybe a single bottle of something a little more expensive that's hard to find, then when he opens it, hopefully the two of you can share it and have a great night!

After this many years, with work and busy schedules getting in the way, My wife and I will usually exchange gifts on Valentine's Day, but then celebrate it either before or after. That way, we can go out to eat when none of the restaurants are busy. The specific date doesn't really matter, it's the love.

If he has to babysit, maybe you could go visit him and offer to help? If you don't feel comfortable helping directly with the child, you could help him clean up or something. Then you could still be together, but maybe make your special plans for the day after.

I think it will have to be for day after as I not met his family and would want to intrude

How about a football jersey? You could also burn him a really good CD with the kind of music you both like. Or how about buying him a newly realeased movie on DVD?

EDIT: Another thing you could do is make him a really nice dinner, set out a picnic blanket on your floor, and have different kinds of fruit for dessert. (Strawberries, grapes, kiwi, etc. with whip cream and/or chocolate sauce) Light some candles, and put on some good music. That is sometimes better than just your run of mill gift!

I don't see how this was helpful at all. It says where the OP is from if you would have looked, and you would have also seen how much money she has to spend had you read. Giving a "spicy surprise" is pretty much a no brainer. This is an advice site, not a chat room.
