    New faucet no pressure
Ok, so here we go. I just installed a new faucet, and cut off valves in my kitchen. I have an older home and the pressure wasn't great before, however it has gotten a lot worse since the intstall. Pressure in bathroom is same. I cleaned screen in faucet and flushed the hoses and it did improve from a trickle to a slow stream. What else can I do? Please help. Thanks.

How old is the house and what type of pipes do you have? Copper, plastic or galvanized? Let me know, Tom

The house was built in 1941. The supply line into the house is galvanized.

Flush stops and hoses again. Does pressure seem better when flushing hoses than it is when running faucet. May have to take faucet cartridge out and clean it. Galv pipes are not a good thing. You may be in for some serious plumbing work in the near future.
