I am just curious if it is OK to get into a relationship with someone who makes much less than I do?
What if the person has bad credit... not because of irrespnsibility but because of unfortunate circumstances.
Can couples survive that way?

What if the person has bad credit... not because of irrespnsibility but because of unfortunate circumstances.
Can couples survive that way?
They can, but it takes some mighty hard work between them. Also know finances is the number one stressor in a marriage, and a prime reason for divorce.
Through hard work and enough dedication to the relationship and solving these issues, sure it can
Yes it can. My fiancé makes triple of what I make hour however I have better credit but he he doesn't have bad credit. Me and him check each other credit before we say our vows to sure everything was in order and to see if we had any debt to clear because we didn't want something to come up when we go to buy a house. Also, being that were getting married we know that his debt becomes my debt and vice vera and none of us wanted that. If anything we refer clear it up before our vows.
I'd say the only thing that could make it difficult are the credit problems... but its still easily done. Just don't ignore the problem and work together to correct it.
But if making more money than someone was a relationship killer than no one would be getting together. Very common for one spouse to make substantially more than the other, whether it man or women. And what about the families where one person works and the other doesn't.
