    Heater Sometimes Doesn't Work
I own a Carrier heating/AC combined unit. I have recently started having problems intermittently. Sometimes the heat will not be working; but I turn off the unit from the thermostat and it will start working again. As an additional piec of information, I recently had to have the computer board replaced.

So, is the problem with the thermostat or is it the unit itself? Thanks for any help.

The problem still could be with the unit itself. To many people automaticallt think the thermostat is at fault. By turning the thermostat off and then back on all you are doing is resetting the circuit board that was just replaced. I would have the company that replaced the circuit board come back since they did not fix the problem completely or it could be another part that has become defective.
