    Numbness,stabbing pain
    Hi,
Been to all the medical doctors and specialists including rheumitologists, had scans, no one could find anything except possible fibromyalga. This has been going on for five months, can't sleep cause I get tingling and numbness in my hands, pain all day that travels from head to toe.
Don't know what to do next.

Was this from an accident that you had?

Please explain how this developed. Also how old are you?

I have something very similar that was caused by an accident. It is called riticulitis which is basically an imflammation to the spinal cord resulting in the nerves being irritated and "hurt". I had a double whiplash and lower lumbar disc injuries. Both my arms up and down and into the fingers and both legs up and down into the toes have radiating pain that hurts and burns similar to bumping your funny bone. It's incurable and hurts more at night when you are trying to go to sleep as you have nothing to distract you from the pain. I've had this since 1986 and have learned to live with it as there is no known "cure" for this condition. My neurologist explained to me when I first got this condition that nerves regenerate very slowly, something like 1mm every month or so. The pain never really goes away and can get intensified if I am upset or stressed out.
