I am having a problem with wiring the hot wire and neutral wire to the outlet from the fan.. evertime I connect the two the fuse keeps popping. What's the problem?

Please provide an accurate description of the wiring. Are you sure that the fan is getting power from a receptacle?

Did you mean the "Outlet box in the ceiling and does it feed a wall switch?
