    Does water coming form a very deep borehole hot or cold

    If it's a very deep bore hole the water will be hot, as it would be dep enough to be heated geothermally. Think of the Old Faithful geyser, for example. This assumes that the water rises quickly, so it doesn't have time to cool off before it reaches the surface.
