I'm in need of a pair of frames for my 5 year old he broke his at school. The lens are still good so I just need help getting a frame . Are insurance does not cover eye glasses at all. And right now it is hard to come up with the money for them. What can I do to get help.

Hi and thank you for hearing me. My husband has been out of work for seven months and we have no health insurance. I am an insulin dependent diabetic, and I am in need of new eyeglasses. I can't see much without them. Mine were broken. I was told that the Lions club could help. I am 57 and my husband is 61 too young for medicade and cant't find a job. Please can you help me? Kat

Have you tried posting on craigslist classifieds: jobs, housing, personals, for sale, services, community, events, forums in your area? You'd be more likely to find someone willing to help you in your local area.

I don't know of anyone in my area except Project Access and they deal with doctors. And meds only.
