Lessons from a teacher who will teach you a style you like.
But you will also have to do hours of practice

    Hi, youngmontague!

Yes, learning from a teacher who can meet with you in person would be best. However, depending on the style that you want to learn, there are a number of videos available for self-teaching.

What style is it that you would like to learn, please? Classical, folk, rock, jazz, etc. Foll guitar is generally just about block chords and would probably be the easiest to learn by yourself.

Classical and jazz would be best learned by the guidance of a live teacher. Rock guitar - varies depending on what might be meant by the style of rock that's being played and whether you want to do riffs or not.

    Thanks!
