    Hello, My question is, If you are on probation: Are you allowed to change your address(Move)? As long as its within the same state?

    I was a probation officer for 7 years and never had a problem with people moving around inside the state as long as they were in complete compliance with their probation and advised me before they moved. A probation case is supposed to be supervised by a probation officer whose office is closest to the probationers residence so you have to notify your PO of the proposed change of address and he has to get a new PO assigned if the new address is not in his area of supervision.
