    Me and my boyfriend has been living to gether for over 2 yrs we just recently received a notice that we have to pay back our taxes for last year we when to or tax person he said that they said that someone else has claimed them how can I get them to tell me the person was that claimed my kids so I can burn them.:mad: and is he able to claim them leggaly he has provided for them and we lived with him

    1. Only custodial parent can claim the child.
    2. Even non-related person can claim the child if the child lived with them all the year.

    Contact the IRS and make an appointment to see an agent. Bring proof that your children are yours (birth certificates should do) and start the process. The IRS will track down the other party who claimed the children and do the burning for you!
