Hello to All. I really need some advice. My husband and I really want to have a baby. We had unprotected sex on Jan 1st, and the next day I started spotting. It was really like pink and even brown at times. That lasted for 3 days. Then on Jan 5th, I started bleeding very heavy, with blood clots and all. I was extremely nervous and scarred because my period is not due until Jan 9th. I continued to bleed heavy until Jan 10, when I notice the bleeding got lighter. I was spoting a pinkish color and passed fewer blood clots ( 1 to be exact). Know its Jan 13th, and I have no bleeding, and my body still feels pregnant. I took two pregnancy test.. one on Jan 5th which came back negative. I thought the blood might of caused it, on top of it being way too soon to feel these symptoms. Then I took my second test today, Jan 13th, and it also came back Negative, but I still feel pregnant. Could I still be pregnant? Can anyone help me out?

When was your period supposed to come this month?

My actual period was due on Jan 9th. I'm not sure if I had a real period or not, because I started bleeding heavy 4 days before my actual period was suppose to start. I feel so stupid calling my doctor trying to explain this because it does sound crazy. Its weird to bleed for 2 weeks, and still feel pregnant, but it seems like Im the only one who feels this is serious. My doctor keeps putting me off, not calling me back and gave me an appoinment two weeks from now, as if its not important to her because I don't have a positive pregnancy test. Its driving me crazy and I don't want to go through ER... its to expensive. My docs receptionist told me to call back when I get a positive pregnancy test and we can get you in sooner... that really pissd me off as if bleeding for 2wks was normal.

Well, I wouldn't quite say she is not scheduling you earlier because you are not pregnant.

When I found out I was pregnant, my appointment wasn't for another month.

I guess they wanted me to be around 10 weeks for my first visit.

Just be a little more patient in getting an accurant answer.

I know hpts are expensive. If it helps, and you have a dollar store around, purchase a few from there. That is where I got my tests when I had to, and they have never failed.

It's possible the spotting was from the recent sex and that your period just showed up a bit earlier than normal. What you had from Jan. 5through Jan. 10 may have been your period for January.
See what happens when your period is due in February.

Hello, I am back for an update. My last post regarding my January period, you guys were right. My period just came early. Well I was so hurt that I wasn't pregnant so my husband and I didn't waste anytime trying again. So on Jan 19th and Jan 23, we tried again, which was my ovaulating dates says the pregnancy calender. On Jan 31st I started spotting. It was brown like dry blood for 2 days, and then I finally started seeing light pink blood, mixed with the brown blood. Know it's Feb 4th, my period due date, and I am still spotting the brown and pink discharge. Its still not heavy. I wear a paniliner for protection. Last night was the first time I really felt pregnant. Even though I am still spotting, should I take a pregnancy test or should I wait?

I'd give it another week to see if your period is just off again.
