Lance Bass, band member of 'N Sync, says he's gay and in a ``very stable'' relationship with a reality show star.
Bass, who formed 'N Sync with Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick, tells People magazine that he didn't earlier disclose his sexuality because he didn't want to affect the group's popularity.
I knew that I was in this popular band and I had four other guys' careers in my hand, and I knew that if I ever acted on it or even said (that I was gay), it would overpower everything,'' he tells the magazine.
Bass says he wondered if his coming out could prompt ``the end of 'N Sync.'' He explains, ``So I had that weight on me of like, `Wow, if I ever let anyone know, it's bad.' So I just never did.''
The singer says he's in a ``very stable'' relationship with 32-year-old actor Reichen Lehmkuhl, winner of season four of CBS' ``Amazing Race.''


Man, my gaydar is way off LOL!! Must not have been easy for him to hide who he really was all of these years.
I'm glad he has the support of this former bandmates:

Justin issued a statement today showing his support for Lance: "Lance is one of my great friends. I support him and wish him all the happiness in the world."
In a statement to ET, JC also responded to today's news with his support: "I've known Lance for more than 10 years. We have been through so much together. He is family and I support him unconditionally."
Joey -- who was reportedly the first member of the group to find out that Lance is gay -- told People, "I back him up 100 percent."

This is true. I mean honestly, look at what he has done over the years. Is there ANYTHING MANLY ABOUT HIM. Besides being the next guy that all the preteens swoon over, you never hear him having tons of sexual relations with girls. Just a few dates, girlfriends. NO GUY IN HIS POSITION, NO STRAIGHT GUY, could honestly hold on to one women. Look for at the new kids on the block for example, they slept with a ton of women. Why, because they threw themselves at them. Justin, get's if not more just as many, due to the increase in world population, but yet you never hear of the him using girls like toilet paper. Not saying it's right, but it's what they do. Anyway, I believe it will be a matter of time. Look Britney dumped him, Cameron she will too, I just wish he would stop lying to the world and confess already, that way guys wouldn't have to compete with him. I mean after all the straights ones are what again, A.S.G.A.U.

Lance Bass is a bit feminine, so I wasn't surprise that he came out of the closet. I'm not a fan of N Sync's music, but I love the new song by Justin Timberlake called "SexyBack." Every time I hear that song, I have to dance.
