Don't worry about GE reflux. There are excellent drugs and your son will definitely feel better. Any proton pump blocker like Omeprazole or Pantaprazole will help.
It is better to sleep with little elevation of the head end of the bed.
Better not to consume hot beverages and avoid smoking.

He needs your help to settle down... aggitation and fear make pain much worse. Have him lie down and you stroke his forehead, put a warm washcloth on his forehead and talk soothingly.

He should not eat any coffee, orange juice, meat and so on. My mother would make "Milktoast" when we were sick. Toast two silces of plain white bread, and pour warm milk on the top of it. She added salt, we were salt hounds like her. :) That gives the stomach acid something to work on.

No alcohol, illegal drugs, smoking, junque foods, and so on.

He can help himself by quieting his mind... that will lessen pain as we discussed earlier; don't forget the Milktoast!

    Best wishes,

No one here can or responsibly should attempt to diagnose you.

You need to be seen by a Physician, particularly in view of your Herpes.

No one here can diagnose your condition - you must go back to the ER (or your physician), tell them you still have the problem and let them diagnose you.

You asked this same question a couple of weeks ago and I gave you the same answer. Please don't keep opening new threads.
