    Who decides the baby's last name?
    I am pregnant and not married to the father of the baby. I was wondering if I got to decide if the baby gets my last name or not because everyone has been telling me that I do, but the father wants his last name for the baby and doesn't think it's my right to choose. Please Help!

    Its completely YOUR CHOICE!. its also your choice as to whether you even want his name on the birth certificate...

    Being the main caregiver has nothing to do with it.

    It's her choice because SHE fills out the birth certificate.
