Would love to know the title of this old black and white
The film is black and white and set on a cruise liner.
The two main characters are young lovers.
The final destination of the ship is heaven but Im not sure if this comes out at the end, that all the characters are dead, or you are aware of it all the way through the film.
The conclusion of the film sees the young lovers breaking their hearts as it becomes clear that their journeys do not have the same destination. It transpires that although one of the pair dies naturally the other took his/her own life to spend eternity with their lover.
This film has had a lasting effect on me from a child to this day. I often refer to it as being the saddest film Ive ever seen. I would love to know the title of this film and hope you can help:D
